Position: Social Media Assistant
Department: Marketing and Brand Strategy, Administration Building, 4th Floor
Time Commitment: Up to 20 hours/week
Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. (some evening and weekend hours)

This position will report directly to the Social Media Strategist and play a significant role in creating content to promote news, events, and points of pride. A successful candidate will proactively seek out new and creative ways to share the contemporary TU story.
Qualifications:
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience using a wide variety of social media platforms
· Understanding and knowledge of how brands use social media
· Ability to produce social content (creative copy, photo and/or video)
· Ability to produce accurate, detail-oriented written reports
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Ability to manage several tasks at once
Duties:
· Aid in the strategy, execution and reporting for main TU pages
· Monitoring social media pages related to TU
· Completing various special projects requested by the Marketing & Brand Strategy team (e.g., supporting daily emails, assisting research projects, administering contests/giveaways, organizing photo/video shoots, etc.)
