Instructional Design Internship - Remote


ADF Solutions is a cyber forensics software company and the leading provider of intelligent digital forensics and media exploitation software. Leveraging an innovative approach, our easy-to-use tools rapidly extract actionable intelligence to help identify and capture suspects who are a threat to communities or national security. Widely deployed for field investigations, ADF digital forensic tools are actively used by defense, intelligence, law enforcement, border security, and other government agencies worldwide. Our tools are used for processing and analyzing smartphones, computers, external drives, drive images, and other media storage (USB flash drives, memory cards, etc.). 

The company is seeking a talented and enthusiastic candidate to fulfill the role of remote intern to join our digital forensic training efforts. In this role, you will assist in organizing and improving digital forensics training material and improving the company’s training experiences for customers and partners. You will work directly with ADF’s Training Manager and will have the opportunity to execute the company’s training initiatives. 



Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with instructional design, organizing course material including GUI, notes and content 
  • Help create train the trainer content, notes and instructional materials
  • Review current Learning Management System content for visual clarity and accuracy 
  • Participate in the development of knowledge checks and final exams 
  • Monitor and assist the training manager with live virtual training sessions
  • Assist in the creation of beginner training materials



Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience performing instructional design for training online training content using multimedia and/or rapid development authoring tools (e.g. Camtasia, Storyline, Captivate, ) a plus
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and driven, with an ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, project management, time management, critical thinking, decision-making, leadership and analytical skills
  • Technical aptitude and ability to navigate Google G-Suite and MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of basic Digital Forensic practices and procedures
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university and entering the final year of pursuing the following degrees/majors; a bachelors degree in Instructional Design/Technology, Adult Education, Organizational Psychology/Leadership, Talent Management or equivalent program
  • Must have a current/most recent cumulative GPA over 3.0
  • U.S. citizenship or valid work permit



Internship Details:

  • 3 months program that can be extended
  • Open to international students enrolled with an accredited U.S. university
  • Number of hours per week negociable
  • Must be able to work remotely
